Kevin Studebaker, Sr.
Kevin is the president of Studebaker Control Solutions, Inc. A small 15 employee business in North Carolina that he owns with his wife, Martha. The company has been in business for 19 years and specializes in Building Automation and Energy Management systems including logical and graphical programming of web based systems.
Kevin’s Grandfather, Paul Sheridan Studebaker, was a member of SNFA back in the 60’s and in 1972 Kevin’s brother recorded Paul giving an oral history based primarily on family legends. While some of this narrative had some inaccuracies, it sparked an interest in Kevin’s 8 year old mind of the history of their family. As he got older, he searched as much history as he could find including purchasing the three SNFA volumes to accurately fill in all of the missing blanks. Many of the pictures in book one, that had to do with his direct line ,were submitted by his grandfather and uncle.
In 2012, his father-in-law passed away. Since Kevin was the family history buff he was asked to do a bit of research for the obituary. It was then that they found out that his father-in-law’s great-grandmother was Elizabeth “Bessie” Studebaker Metzger. So, to make a long story short Kevin’s wife, Martha is P987-558-3.
Martha and Kevin have been married for 36 years. They have four married children and 9.5 grandchildren, #10 due in July 2020.They enjoy Camping with the family, road trips in the RV and Studebaker car shows and events.
